Who we are
We are a pair of sisters who have grown up together with a shared passion for painting! In our professional lives we are both practicing artists with various awards, qualifications and experiences. We have teamed up to offer you the gold standard of Wedding Portraiture captured from life! Bernadette is a loving mum of three and an Award-winning Artist and Art Therapist with a proficiency in portraiture. Teresa is an established Artist who is represented by Gallery 11:11 and holds the title of Artist in Residence for global company Chroma Paints.
From age 13 we both attended a classical painting college and continued our art education at a tertiary level. Bernadette is experienced in Watercolours, Acrylics and Oils with a love of figures, portraits, the real and the surreal! Teresa is experienced in Acrylics and Oils with a fascination with the beauty of landscapes, dusk, water and realistic figures.

Always ready for a chat and to help you feel excited and ready for the big day! Teresa has a soft, airbrushed style with a strength for landscapes and intricate facial details. She enjoys outdoor, rustic weddings with beautiful scenery and details. Capturing the tender moments shared between the couple as they say their I-dos with gentle brush marks and soft colours.
Teresa is an established Australian Artist and teacher. Growing up in the Hills Shire of Sydney, her journey in art began at age 12, when she began painting. At age 16, she sold her first artwork at the Cumberland Art Show, and has been exhibiting and taking commissions ever since. Creating art is something she has always loved, and sharing beautiful moments with others is something by which she feel deeply impassioned. Making art is a freeing, meditative and satisfying process, from choosing the subject matter to signing the finished work.
Teresa is the resident Artist for Chroma Inc an Australian based global company, represented by Gallery 11:11 in North Epping and affiliated with the Castle Hill Art Society, Blacktown Arts Centre and runs two business “Teresa Small Art” and "Live Wedding Paintings". Sharing her love of art with others is a real passion and for the last 8 years she has been teaching workshops all over Sydney with National Art School (Chroma representative), Little Lane Workshops, The Art Studio Maroubra, Pin Gallery, Gallery 11:11, Thrills Events, Blacktown Arts Center, Castle Hill Art Society, Reddam House, Marist Sister College Woolwich, Ravenswood and The Sydney Art School.

Bernadette Salvador

With over 50 weddings painted, Bernadette wows couples with her incredible details and photorealistic likeness. She is the master of the "Finished-on-day" standard package and loves to have your guests watch each step of the painting. Bernadette has a delicate and classical style with a strength for highly detailed faces. She enjoys all moments and settings and capturing the connection and love between the couple. If you are after a real treat for detail, request a close up moment!
Bernadette is a Sydney based artist, specialising in acrylic, oil, and watercolour painting. With a background in Art Therapy Bernadette is enraptured with the emotional, interpersonal and expressive nature of painting. Her career was kickstarted after winning Young Artist of the year in 2009 and from then on she has gained a reputation for her accuracy in portraiture work and emotive surrealist paintings.
Mother to three beautiful children, Bernadette has a calm and nurturing nature. When painting weddings she enjoys capturing the loving connection felt between the couple.
